Pool Parties: Pool parties are held in 2 hour increments. Pools will be open for pool parties from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Monday - Thursday or starting at 5:00 pm Friday - Sunday. Fees: $70.00 (one pool), $100.00 (both pools) plus guard fee: $10.00 hr. per pool per guard (gratuities accepted for guards). 2 guards required for one pool; 3 guards for both pools. Parties require two adult chaperones at all times. Contact the pool to schedule a party.
Pool Closing/Cancellations: Call the pool phone or check the park district website.
Policies Regarding Unscheduled Closing of Pool:
The pool manager shall, under the following conditions, be authorized to close the pool.
1. Pools will be cleared for a period of 30 minutes anytime lightning is spotted or thunder is heard. Patrons will be allowed to re-enter the pools once the time has elapsed without reoccurrence of thunder/ lightning.
2. When a situation arises that would jeopardize public health or safety of the people in attendance. According to Illinois Health code, people must be asked to clear the pool any time there is a vomiting or fecal accident in the water. The pool will be cleared for a period of 20 minutes while chemical adjustments are made.
3. When the air temperature falls below 70 degrees Fahrenheit for a continuous one hour period.
4. If storm conditions create a clearing of the pool and there is no sign of weather clearing.
